Tarpley Response Area.

We provide fire suppression, EMS First Responder, and rescue service for Bandera County, Texas, roughly bordered by the red outline.

We will provide mutual aid to any surrounding agency when requested.

Who We Serve

  • If you have a 562-xxxx land line phone number exchange.
  • If you live in Bandera County.
  • If you live between Seco Pass & Tarpley Pass (The big hills on FM 470).
  • All property owners within our district whether you reside on your property or not.
  • All property owners within our district whether you donate to TVFD or not.
  • If your property is partly in our service area and partly in another service area.
  • If your property is partly in Bandera County and partly in another.
  • Property owners in northern Medina County (we have a mutual aid agreement with Hondo VFD).
  • Anyone needing our services who dial 911 from a cellphone that is within our response area.

Our Mission

The mission of the TVFD is to promote community education on fire and public safety and to enlist and train volunteer members in order to provide firefighting and emergency services within its capabilities.

Regular Business Meeting 7pm the 2nd Tuesday of Every Month @ Tarpley Community Center.
